Just a few before we got wet.
1. Crossing over to the wrong side of the tracks.
2. Looking over the allotments.
3-5. Some sky pics.
6. Come down from there.
7. A hint of purple in the sky.

Slight departure from my today quest, due to time restraints I have compiled a selection from my week. I wont tell you were each one is, and its not a quiz, just something to ponder over.

Still out of sync, been in Preston all afternoon, so here is yesterday in pictures.

1. Calf Hey Reservoir on a wet day, with low cloud. The remains of buildings you see date back to the rein of Elizabeth 1st.It was a cluster of farms, with looms, shippons, and barns. This is the remains of Hartley House, next to Lower Ormerods and East Cottages. If you look at the trees in the distance you can see them appear to be making clouds, it didn't last long.
2. Top side of the reservoirs.
3. Signs of previous occupations litter the site.
4. There is always going to be a fungi bit if possible.
5. And wet bits are never far away, remember, you have to be in it, to wet it.
6. Under that bridge is a fairy, I know as I was just under there.
7. One of the many streams with settlement ponds that feed the reservoirs.
8. For this one I am down in the wet grass, hands up if you have seen a purple one before.
9. Another stream with settlement ponds before it enters the reservoir.
10.The harsh environment on the heights shapes the trees.

You've been out with your spray paint. Never seen a purple one

Beautiful shots, davemac. The ruins, the trees, wet bits and purple mushies - all a feast for the eyes!

It was a good walk, plus I got wet socks and a moist gusset, so bliss.
