Thanks Dave. That OS grid site is very good, lots of interesting pictures. I didn't go looking for it, it just came up on google, as it does from time to time.

Part 1. Today in Pictures, Gt. Harwood nature walk completed.

1. Start point, Memorial park behind us.
2. Thistle do for a start.
3. River Calder again.
4. Fungi on a tree stump.
5. This one has a simplistic beauty.
6. All these on the same stump.
7. Looking over to Pendleton Moor.
8. Route goes through Bowley scout camp.
9. I remember this from its original position in Accrington.
10. Central area of the scout camp.

Part 2. Today in Pictures, the final part of the journey.

11. Himalayan Balsam, lovely flower, nasty weed.
12. Up the lane, I am told that range in the distance is Whernside?
13. Look over to Dean Clough.
14. Small hamlet halfway up the lane.
15. Thats a walk for another day.
16. Dean Clough Reservoir.
17. Looking back up the lane.
18. Over the style, it brings us out at Memorial Park, top corner.
19. Oh my conkers.
20. Last view before going home.

Another walk on the list completed.

my todays are nowt like that .... very nice dave .. now i know instead of coming home after the hossy i should have had that wander round helmshore... instead of taking pics of my sisters annual visitors to her garden and then catching the bus home and watching tennis all afternoon!!!:p:p:p

I thank you for your effort, why no pictures of going to the hospital, and during treatment then journey home, it is after all today in pictures. Perhaps next time?

Oh we do, and the cutting off of the plaster, in fact all the gory details.

these are from another trip to the hospital over grane road when i did have my camera with me ... remember these are took from a bus .. through the dirty window and moving.... on 29 may this year ..

Some are clear to say its through a dirty window at speed.


5 casts are a lot to put up with.
