Accrington Web - Today in pictures

A mixed bag of pix to catch up with you all. I've been busy tending to my 89 year old Aunty in hospital. On one of our walks to try to get her moving I noticed how beautiful the lobby was, hence a couple of shots. To relax before my drive to the hospital, there was Geocaching to take my mind off things. It takes you to spots you would ordinarily miss as you drive by. Also, a couple of my neglected little garden - at least the green beans are doing well! The flowers are quite interesting. Then I couldn't resist one of Miss Pris, who's grown quite nicely in the past year and LOVES climbing up to high places.

Yes, I feel like I am working harder now than when I was working....but I keep telling myself that tough times don't last, but tough people DO!

The Cycling Tour of Britain route comes by Clitheroe tomorrow,and the Nick of Pendle is showing a nod to the cyclists,looks good.

Today I was going to walk around Oak Hill Park...........until I noticed they were having a fun day with jumpy, bouncy, squeaky, things and a bandstand full of bands, so I went to plan B and walked around Haworth Park instead, I still got the noise but not the crowds. The line up of artists was impressive I could hear Michael Buble and Elvis Presley.

Just one today to keep my hand in.

I was just about to pick up the apples which fell from my trees last night when I saw this web which I thought was worth taking a photo.
