When you've finished smacking yourself in the gob, any ideas on how to take pics of fireflies? Little sonsabitches just don't wanna co-operate.:D

We had to head back across Fyn to catch a ferry, so we bobbed into Faaborg to do a bit of shopping & there was an old timer American cars Rally/display on, to good a chance to miss really.

Great pic of the Fire Chicken ... had a '67 convertible. What a chick magnet:D Never did like the vettes.

Hahhah! That certainly would be a challenge. Haven't seen any fireflies for a long time, sadly. When I first moved into my current place 25 years ago, I could look out the back door and see them under an old apple tree. Not any more though. The tree is gone, and too much development has taken place hereabouts.

You can try what I did once out in the country. Stand a torch up right on a wall shining straight up and lots of fireflies soon came into the beam. Only on that occasion I didn't have my camera with me.

I prefer to use a flashlight; too much fire hazard with a torch.;)

Number 10 reminds me of somebody I once worked for.....except the bovine is more handsome.

A few cell phone pics from the last couple of weeks... I've been busy with various things, and never seemed to have a camera with me. Still, I made some attempts, but often seemed to miss what I was shooting for!
1. Can you see the Chipmunk? He's feasting on Service Berries.
2. The Heron Got Away.
3. Something got away from Miss Pris too (another chipmunk I think(
4. Hubby failing to find a Geocache (lots of raspberry canes though)
5. Neighbour's bunny stays very still - unlike the many wild ones I've seen but not captured with my camera yet.
6. Miss P says "Stop taking my photo or I'll swipe you one!"
7. Fairy Lake - another failed Geocache attempt.
8. Reflections of a clothesline
9. Ditto
