o0o0 well, will see what happens with ours then

Re: Avoid this Couriers......
A common method used by debt collection agencies is to send/leave you a card to say they have something they need to deliver or you weren't in. By ringing them back they confirm that you do actually live in the house they sent the card to.
If you are expecting a delivery of goods then the best way is to check with the peple who sent the goods which method they have used. |

A complaint with the franchise company itself would seem to be in order then. |
Re: Avoid this Couriers......
Have I missed something, or have you not posted who the couriers are, I cant see it in the thread, and we use a lot of couriers!

If you paid for the delivery of the the items the contract is between you and the courier. I use DHL and UPS and have no trouble. I get goods from China in two or three days...tracked all the way. This sounds to me like a scam. You say this company name has been removed...PM me and I will do a company search. |
Re: Avoid this Couriers......
Have just received a 2nd card from this company today with the same reference number on
We hadn't rang up to arrange redelivery yet from the 1st card tho.... hmmm |

Re: Avoid this Couriers......
We`ve had a delivery from them today( i say delivery, it was left in the shed) for one of our parcels after much foot stamping and getting the parcel sender involved in the argument but we were told there is no chance of them bringing the other parcel , we can whistle for it...!!!!!! even though they have been today anyway!!!

Re: Avoid this Couriers......
Certainly seems a bit over the top
Hopefully the company that used them to deliver the item will never use them again |

Yeah, we know who the sender is as we only have 1 item being delivered, so if need be we will get them involved |
Re: Avoid this Couriers......
This could be part of a serious scam. There were a few cases that I heard of where people were getting cards supposedly from a courier but there was no parcel at all. They had to phone a number on the card to arrange for delivery. The company would never tell them who the package or parcel was from but when they got their phone bill there was an astronomical amount for the phone call. The 'company' was making money from the phone calls.
I don't know what the name of the company was but was your one a well known reputable company or some cowboy firm you've never heard of? If the latter then it could be a similar scam. |
