TV remote not working - TIP
Had a problem with the TV this morning, remote wouldn't turn tv on or off or change channels, it did work the volume though so I was undecided if it was a TV or a remote issue.
I rang the Samsung support line up (using www.saynoto0870.com to save paying 0870 prices) What was the 1st thing he told me? Yeah you got it - change the batteries  I'd already done that and it didn't work.2nd thing - Take the batteries out, point remote at TV and press power button for 2 mins Hey, it worked  its a static build up on the remote, handy to know for the future, thing is if I had taken this to the shop for repair what would they have charged me?? £50 at a guessHope this works for you if your remote plays up sometime |

Thanks I will try that on ours which also sometimes doesnt change channels yet the volume buttons work fine.
