i stll have teh tufty book book and badge at my mums house , i even have the orgional green cross code badges from the 70's somwhere ( a.k.a darth vader)

We did road safety at primary i still cant remember the tuffty club bit tho, will ask me dad if he remembers me contributing in it:confused: either that old age has got to me hehehehe

No, you're mixed up, warty eye was Mrs Chapman. She taught third from the top year, and also sex education to the top class, which I think I must have missed.:eek: :D

Mrs (Nel) Owen taught the 5/6 year olds, and she was also my Sunday school teacher. She was a wonderful woman, and the finest socialist I ever had the pleasure in knowing. She sadly died the other year aged ninety.

left school easter 63, so never came across it,that explains to me why i have been knocked down 3 times.:drink: or that may have been the reason.:D
