I left senior school in 88 - I remember The Tufty Club. I had a big white annual of it which also showed dangers around the house - loose wires and pan handles over the edge of cookers. Not sure how old I would have been...about 9 maybe??

Re: The Tufty Club

The 'Tufty Club' was the brainchild of the late PC Ken Wilkinson, a Lancashire Constabulary traffic officer who dedicated much of his career to road safety issues involving the safety of children. Ken's widow, Hazel still lives in Cranbourne Drive, Church.
