I see where your coming from. like the bare bone systems. (or something simaler (SP))

But 'package deals' that I have looked at in the past always seem to have a let down point, as in a cheap processor or cheap graphics card.

TFT as well for gaming have to be good ones or the responce time gives you headaches.

Re-reading this thread reminded me of dialup. When there was a 2hour cutoff and you had to reconnect. Those were the days. So much fun when your trying to play online games
