OK let me rephrase..City had the better starting line up on the night and scored in added time..saying that I think it could have easily been a drawn game...so let's say United were a tad unlucky to get nothing. :)

Spot on cashy, went to play for a draw and it backfired, never seen united play 1 up front that many times, and there were 5 attackers on the bench too. Ho by the way there's an advert on United's Website this morning they want a mechanic to put the wheels back on Cities Bus:D

Surprised Ji Sung Park started...Giggs days as a left winger are long gone..should have started with Valencia on the right and Nani left.. should have brought Hernadez on instead of Welbeck.....apart from that I think he got it spot  :D

No idea, but again another defeat at home, there really needs to be a shake up at the seasons end. :(

I think we lost it a few weeks back and we have only ourselves to blame - still, "hope springs eternal"
Going to be really jealous of the scousers though this season as they are on the way to breaking so many records - Lowest number of goals scored in a season, lowest points total, most money spent, lowest league position, sure that DinG can come up with some more - but KK says it has been a good season with great improvements.???????????

Do we feel suitable better now, more relaxed hmm ? Do we feel cleansed of our fluxes ? Happier & contented now we've got that out in the open hmm ?

You see, we're good for your heathen souls so you should be thanking us. :)

And if you come over to Anfield we'll let you see what a trophy looks like (as you haven't got any this year) & if you wait until next week we'll be able to show you 2 ! ;)

Find it a bit strange having the cup final 2 weeks before the end of the season.. there's no time to release the traditional "cup final team song".. so I'll have to post the one most respectable footy fans will be chanting this weekend.."so cheer us on through the sun and rain..Chelsea is our name" :D

Like your lot bragging about 2 more European Cups than we have there is even nore disparity with the FA Cup - somewhere around 11 - 7 to La creme - even Blackburn have won it as many times as your lot.:tongueout:p:D

ROBBED ! Liverpool were rubbish in the first half, Chelsea looked tired after 60 mins and were there for the taking but Pool nowhere near good enough... reckon Kenny got his tactics wrong ;)

I know the Ref jibe is tongue in cheek..no doubt about the winners if Carrolls attempt had been given, and overall both teams played a clean game.
As was posted earlier about the match being played before the end of season, it didn't seem to have the same blood and guts glory of an FA cup final .:(

How many pieces of humble pie have you eaten, maybe if they'd have turned up at 5-15pm instead of 6-15pm things could have been a bit different, KK got it well wrong , with his team selection, only came to life when Carrol came on and that ball wasn't over the line either, close but no cigar:D

Re: Liverpool.. the road to the title 2011

Not a good game to watch. For the first 60 minutes Chelsea were by far the better team and it was only when Chelsea tired did the scousers show anything. The question arises - how will KK cope when they have to play an extra 20 games or so next season? That of course depends on how far they go in the Europa Cup.
Will be a squeeky bum afternoon today from start to finish I think.

Why whats happening Barrie, oh ya I forgot Its Ronnie O'Sullivan v Ally Carter in the Snooker World Final, fancy the Rocket myself:D

Re: Liverpool.. the road to the title 2011

Agree with most things, not good enough on the day. :o Personally I would've had Kuyt on from the start, 2 attackers & not just Suarez up front, Carroll while being the goalscorer still doesn't do it for me, maybe if the price tag hadn't been so big ? For that kind of money I'd want something exceptional & up to now Carroll hasn't been. As to Reina, I think his best days are behind him.

The last 20 minutes or so where the best part for me, if the Pool had made that much effort from the start we'd probably have won outright without any panic. I've said it before, but for me the days of true football are gone, when the lads were local to the area & played for pride, passion & honour of wearing your clubs shirt, too many foreign mercenaries nowadays who'll play for pay & no understanding of the history.

Still doesn't detract from the fact we lost & that's all there is to it really.

What can you say ? I don't agree with it, but the yank owners are money men, they're not in it for the club but for the profit & returns like so many other owners of clubs.

Alright his performance was poor (KD) but the players certainly haven't helped matters, overrated & overpaid in most cases. Still whoever comes in will be faced with the same problems. Think they should've given him another 6 month or so to square things up.

Supporters love domestic cup wins but for the "top" clubs it's all about the getting in Champions league..saying that I'm surprised they sacked him..the money has been spent and any new manager will be working with near enough the same squad of players next season.
