there can only be 1 B for me mancie mate- Bowie who had many differant faces/bands in that era, all top class as well. i take me hat off to a guy who can change like a chameleon with the times.;)

Didn't the original post say influential 60s rock groups? B*witched, 60s, rock group? What the hell? That doesn't add up to me. I agree with Cashman; Bowie is an influence that can't be ignored, beats B*witched, who aren't from the 60s, are not a rock group and have no influence over todays music whatsoever.

think original post said "Post 60s" john, though Bowie did some great work late 60s,his major impact i think began early 70s with the Spiders, Aladdin sane, etc etc.:)

The thread was originally posted as a spoof..I mean come on Dollar as rock legends :D
Anyway I would go along with Bowie..his first five albums were brilliant (Man who Sold The World,Hunky Dory,Space Oddity,Ziggy Stardust and Aladin Sane.
I recall all five being in the top 15 of the album charts at the same time!

had all of them Hunky Dory is a classic as are the other 3.:)
