Pre-Eurythmics Annie Lennox, and Dave Stewart were in the pop band The Tourists.

Whose musical roots were in folk rock.

About as punk as Pickettywitch.

Ya I think Dave Stewart would be most peeved if he knew some people thought his musical roots were in Punk

I was at that gig.

It was the Eurythmics.

You could have been rubbing yourself up against me, never knowing who I was.

Small world.

How very dare you suggest such a thing.

I would have remembered I'm sure in any case...

Unless you were the tall, golden boy with the colgate smile?

Dave Stewart suffers from Paradise Syndrome;
Paradise Syndrome - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
which is when you feel unhappy and depressed even when you've achieved all your dreams and made loads of money - so I don't think he'd give a toss about being called a punk!
