Also interesting to note we didn't have the smallest gate ..

.. to save Bagpuss' keyboard, I'll add "according to the official figures" :)

Leam Plays for new deal

I'd like to see him back next year think he is a very good defender when he plays and has been very unlucky with his injuries this year.

He is one of the players (not Leam personally, but his injury situation) that the new wage structure is aimed at, has been paid all season, but only started 10 games..... Wonder how he feels about the new pay terms? Must think that they are OK as he wants to stay..:):) I agree with you MCR :) I would like him to stay, was a breath of fresh air when he came on on Saturday :D

Leam is a player I like and it would be a shame to see him go - but if he does it will fitness related rather than owt else. I dont think we carry anywhere near the same threat down the left without him foraging forward.

I have often said that Leam should be captain. And I remain convinced that he would be ideal in this role.

Back of LET today,

Wage budget will be cut by 25%
Stanley's annual wage bill of £900,000 will be around £675,000
thats a big chunck of the wage bill.
