Prostar 0 - 1 Joma

Coca Cola Football League Two
Saturday 30th Jan 2010

Shrewsbury Town 0 - 1 Accringon Stanley
super jomaA win at Shrewsbury Town this afternoon made it six wins out of seven for John Coleman's Accrington Stanley as we ran out 1-0 winners in our Joma kit at the Prostar Stadium.

Bobby Grant got the only goal of the game on 26 minutes, his 14th of the season, and although Andy Procter was sent off for a second booking late in the game Stanley's defence held strong and kept a clean sheet to ensure that all three points went back to Accrington.

Next we entertain Barnet on Tuesday evening, kick off 7.45pm.

maybe a little bit - but good on whoever came up with it

and I've just noticed it's converted the Joma log to super joma at the beginning after I pasted it in - spooky

Retail and Merchandise.

Wednesday 3rd Feb 2010.

New online store coming soon.

Accrington Stanley are developing the online retail outlet in order improve the entire online retail experience. The new online store will have the full range of products available in store, accurate stock level data and guaranteed delivery time information, as well as an online ticket system that will allow fans to purchase tickets for chosen seats in the Crown Ground.

The existing online store has now been removed from AccringtonStanley.co.uk whilst the new outlet is under construction
Retail Operations Manager Lewis Carroll said today, " Although we acknowledge that removing a vital revenue stream to the football club in these turbulent times can hardly be considered positive news, it is vital that we correct the wrongs and introduce a fully working online store that delivers a professional service and to every single supporter who purchases from our online store. Therefore it was important to remove the online store and start again."

Any outstanding purchases will be dispatched as normal, but should anyone be concerned regarding an existing order then please contact Lewis Carroll on the details below.

For the present, online purchases can still be made through our extended enquiry system which is fully operational and designed to give a personal touch to every order. Anyone wishing to purchase any stock from Accrington Stanley need only send an email and contact name and number to the address below.Email - [email protected]

If the Rochdale online store is representative of the shop itself they really don't seem to have much miore choice than the Stanley shop. Things aren't going to change overnight and the current organisation of the club shop doesn't need a trip to Rochdale to be improved ;)

ASFC Retail.

Monday 8th Feb 2010

Oswaldtwistle Mills store opening.

Accrington Stanley will be opening the new outlet within Oswaldtwistle Mills on Wednesday morning. After weeks of careful planning the first phase of the retail expansion will see the club re occupy a new position within the out of town Mill Store. This is only the initial stage opening, we are delighted to re ignite our partnership with East Lancashire’s flagship retail outlet.

Oswaldtwistle Mills attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors through its doors every year, with numerous concessions trading throughout, it was always a key objective for the clubs merchandise department to work closely with the mill and provide the kind of outlet that matches our club store blueprint.

Over the coming weeks, we will be adding new stock that ties in perfectly to the Oswaldtwistle Mills experience, as well as re developing the merchandising standards that will help secure our football club’s position within the Mill.

Commercial Manager Dan Warburton said today, “It’s another positive development from the club. We will look to develop at the Mill store and then take operations to the central location in Accrington town centre store but it’s important we get the foundations in place in our core units first.”

In addition Retail Operations Manager Lewis Carroll commented, “The mill outlet will be the first to use an adapted stock management system which will ensure stock levels are monitored and managed effectively”

In addition to this system, we will be receiving the new customer relations system from See Threesixty shortly, which will control every aspect of our retail operations throughout our online, store and outlets programme.

Can't imagine it's copyright, doubt Mancini has had his picture taken with a red and white scarf. The legal area surrounding spoofs is very grey.
If all fails I'm sure Man Utd fans would chip in to pay any fine for a copy of that picture :)

I ordered a shirt with Lew online last Saturday afternoon for collection on Tuesday night and sure enough the shirt was ready for collection on Tuesday Evening, printed and ready to go.

While I was in there for probably no more than five minutes I watched Lew's interaction with the public and it was great, very polite and nothing was too much trouble for him.

He has done wonders in his short time back at the Club with himself and his approach to the job he is key to people keep coming back

Keep Up the Good Work!

Friday 2nd Apr 2010.

Spring Draw Promotion.

Don't forget to pick up your merchandise on your way through to the game tonight

Excellent...however, won't two matches in two days leave the team a little knackered? Crikey, Miles can't even manage a full 90 minutes, never mind two games in 24 hours! :D

Question I have been asking for the last couple of years (with no answer, see past multilpe posts on this subject ) ... will you now accept a US credit card number for a product to be shipped to a European postal address ?

Expect an answer soon, my good man!!!

Hi,

In direct response to the last question, you can purchase any item (this applies to any credit/debit card transaction) for as long as the registered address for the card is the same as the actual address of the person making the transaction.

So in this case, your american card will be accepted fine aslong as the address you have given to your card company is the european address you are now living at.

If you want to make a purchase and send it to another address, then you should really order it to your address then post it out. It really depends on your card company. People order things through Ebay for example and get the items delivered to a work address so I see no issue there.

if you would like to make a transaction, our online account requires the following;

16 digit card number,
valid from
expiry
sec number (3 digit Security)
name as it appears on the card
contact number

So you could send to another address with us on any item, we do post abroad but with relevant posatge and packing fees. I hope this helps. If anyone needs any thing specific answering then please do email me at the club, I will try and answer (if I know the answer?) As soon as I can. Even on holiday!!!! [email protected]

Lew

Exciting (if somewhat geeky!!) stuff happening in the club shop over the next week or so, when I called in today to see Lew he was mega enthusiastic, if a little stressed!!! Can't wait for the new bits of stock and all the techno bits to go live, its gonna be a shop of the future, and hopefully a lot easier for Lew to continue his excellent service!!!

Nice one Lew and nice one stanley!!!

It all sounds Jolly Exciting but.....

The only thing I don't get if it's limited edition and can't be repeated, if they sell out and more people want them are the Club going to turn good money away?

Also be nice to perhaps know what colour they actually are:)

pendle - the club most only sell 100 home and 100 away shirts a year

no problem making it limited.

First of all if they are a limited edition, they should be a limited edition of a certain number and each one should be numbered. If, say, it is a limited edition of 100 they should be numbered 1/100, 2/100, 3/100, etc. Secondly I have heard that the coulour might be black.
