McGrail joins from Preston North End
John Coleman has secured the services of 17 year old Preston North End striker Chris McGrail on a one month 'work experience' loan deal. Chris, who has been on the bench twice for PNE this season, will be available for selection for our home match against Mansfield on Tuesday evening.

:(Not for £4500 specialy when he was on a 'work experience' loan deal..more likely the cardif player:)

McGrail signs six month loan deal
preston North End striker Chris McGrail has joined Stanley on a six month loan deal. The 18 year old spent time here at the Fraser Eagle Stadium on work experence last season while he was a trainee at Deepdale, however he signed a professional contract over the summer and preston manager Paul Simpson is keen for him to get first team experience.

Still more likely?

So does this mean we are are going to have another transfer embargo. (the bit about not publishing our accounts on time)

If it is Preston it sounds like they are so skint they are checking down the back of the sofa for a few coppers. Poor things :D

If so it seems odd to me, a trialist aint the same as a contracted player.
