the suspension will still stand regardless so we'll be without him until the middle of November - either way it'll be like getting a fantastic new signing

But where does that put the club in respect to all results attained while he was on the field ?

He didn't play any league matches while suspended. The suspension didn't kick in until 30th August

Thank you, my ignorance again, so it really only affects the Cup game against Tranmere then ?

I underand that the Halewood official has addmited not informing Puterill of tha ban and that the club are asking that he be allowed to play until its sorted out.
