The plan IS to knock the breeze block wall down and add a temporary stand behind the coppice terrace (approx 5/6 extra steps)
All done in plenty of time ( fingers crossed )

"Fingers cossed" is that the same as a wing and a prayer:D

Just like last year. Stop worrying everyone. The tax bill will be paid in plenty of time. We have had over five years to get this sorted out. If Barnet finish in the bottom two of the league I am sure that they will put in a protest and get us thrown out if we do not have the required capacity.

After what happened to them a few years ago, I suspect Stevenage might be happy to back any such protest after they've visited The Crown and seen the 'facilities'.

This has gone quiet recently. Has anyone been up to the ground recently to see that work is proceeding as planned and hasn't been affected by the inclement weather?

Was by the ground to-day - no sign of any construction. Vaguely remember reading somewhere that RH was quoted as saying that all would be complete by the 18th December!

Doubtless, the club will be asking for volunteers to help them out with last minute construction work in the final week of December.

RH also said that the control room would be up and running in time for "our next home match", which at that time was the Shrews game. Has this actually happened?

Is it not only a temporary stand ? Would have thought it will only take a couple of days to put up some scaffolding and a few planks
