Just a minor point but we have now surpassed 50 points. Well done reds

Any impression if Vale brought a large following, or have the good folks of Accy woken up to the fact we might just have a bit of a team this season ? Either way, extra turnstile cash is welcome.

Excellent win and a great performance, especially Craney who dominated the midfield and oozed class today, he should have been man of the match IMO. I am glad we aren't Port Vale fans, what a bunch of fickle morons they are, fair enough their team aren't doing well at the minute but the fans behaviour leaves a sour taste in the mouth.

I hope with a good few games to come that we start to utilise our squad to help rest some of our players, we have a very good squad so lets use it.

I must admit to carry on like they did was abit OTT but it does show they have passion.

Yes we have a squad, but why change a winning team ?? I wouldent

Well done Stanley.

I have also for the last 35 years also supported what is currently a League One side with many times your average gate and wage bill.

I think the reason you wont play them next season is not that they wont get relegated but the fact that you might well overhaul them. You already have in terms of your performances on the field.

.

Nothing wrong with supporter pressure as long as it doesn't get out of hand. Let those who are screwing things know that you are watching and you want it changed. As another member on here pointed out, it's ironic that the first protest at the Crown ground to get rid of those screwing the club up was from one of the away teams.

It's a shame Stanley couldn't get their games in hand out of the way ( and win them of course ). I think when they actually get in to the play off places more people will take notice and go along to see what the fuss is :)

Have had guests, otherwise I would have posted earlier. I don't wish to seem ungracious, but since you mention it Sean really should have had a hat-trick today. I still think we would be well into the play-off positions or even better by now if other squad members had been given the number of opportunities he has had. Another steam-rollering performance by the red men to keep us heading in the right direction.:D

A good all round performance, three points, three goals and another clean sheet

What I really enjoyed today it was at times a dig deep performance which was workmanlike from back to front.

At times some players go missing which you would expect but this was different a team we normally struggle against we more than matched and there was a gritty resolve to be first to everything.

That can be the difference between outside the mix or being well and truly in it!

Well done to Coley & the Team keep going:)

One other bit of port vale rumour at the crown today was that prematch a very unhappy Griffiths had Jim Gannon by the throat in the dressing room, after being told he was dropped in favour of last nights loan signing Dominic Blezzard.

I was also told the square up between Exodus Geohagen and the Vale fans at the final whistle was due to the baying mob crushing a young vale fan (child) against the barrier in their efforts to vent their fury at Gannon and the players. Exodus and another vale player did infact manage to pull the child over the barrier so that they were not crushed and injured further, so I believe.

Not a good advert for supporting your local club really!!

Heres another one for you Val, seeing as Terry hasn't scored since the Ultras started singing his heartbeat themed song. How about setting the stand alight with a few adjusted lyrics and the name Terry Gornell inserted in this little track!!!
