Re: Paul Cook

Leam is a very young not-quite-manager and would be FAR better served staying at a club where he knows he has stability. He would be given time by the club and the fans to build a squad in his own image. It would be fairly pressure free for him and "his young family" (used in mitigation by RH as possible excuse for him leaving)

Going to Chesterfield would be pinning his colours to Paul Cooks flag until such time as he can strike out under his own steam. He (they) would be given a very short time by the fans to get things under control, the board would give them longer as they wouldn't want to pay up their contracts. If things didn't pan out this season they would be unemployed and relatively unemployable - Cook especially.

Early on in a career it is important to develop and show what you are all about, if all you are showing is a willingness to move easily then your results must stand up to inspection.

Stay where you Leam and carve yourself a legend

Re: Paul Cook

We like the man ! He got the team passing to each other, playing the triangles etc.
Feel he didn't give the interview because of the situation but mainly because he was giving the officials a real earfull as they left the pitch at the end of the game.Probably carried on in the changing rooms.Having said this we feel very, very let down .If this has been in the air some time, does it explain lack of form?
Leam standing in again or will he get the chancehe deserves?

Re: Paul Cook

What really brasses me off, is the simple fact the club are having to wait fer confirmation from Chesterfield. It just demonstrates to me how little Cook cares fer Stanley, Its common courtesy if yer starting a fresh job, to notify the company yer leaving of this, is it not? Seems to me like the man cannot be bothered,:( Stanley deserve better fer the chance it gave Cook imho.

What happens if the deal falls through for any reason?

Dissapointed also if the story on the previous page is from the Observer as first and foremost that should have been on the Club website.
