Can't be sure without 100% proof but more than likely had to offer Luke Joyce a lot less than he was on previously. Makes you wonder what kind of money Beattie had these players on!!

We've lost players before and replaced them but wish him all the best, Did a lot of work that some fans didn't appreciate!

Its not a lot to do wi what anyone else had the players on, its the simple fact the club is still losing dosh, though from what i understand, not as much as the two previous seasons? its more the fact our board can't keep supplementing these losses as i understand it, so tough choices have had to be made. but suppose its handy for some to blame other people.:rolleyes:

Agree that Luke will be a MASSIVE loss both on and off the pitch ........

The really worrying underlying issue must centre around how little money is really available ?

This could be a looooooooooong season .

Never put the full blame on James Beattie, if any player can get what they think is a better deal elsewhere then fair play but if we hadn't handed out contracts that we couldn't afford then maybe we wouldn't be losing players like Joyce, Atkinson this time around because we've had to offer them less!

Anyway, exciting times ahead to see Coley has lined up...Optimistic!

I am feeling optimistic as well !! and cant wait for pre-season to start.

The three players leaving can be replaced,

Hunty - Bucko
Atkinson - Jones back on loan for 12 months
Joycy- Dunny signs !!

What happened to Whitehead who Coley seemed to have lined up for this season? Seen him and not rated him? Don't think he was offered a contract!
