Not really true, I'm afraid. We need to be securing league football for yet another season. I am all in favour of an ambitious outlook but to compete for a place in the upper reaches of the league would be a bonus, not a necessity.

good luck to kal at pompey though not surprised he has gone. had a disrupted season last year with his family problems and probably needs a fresh start. will be a good player in a good side and playing infront of five figure crowds can only be a plus as you cant here every moan.

I must agree, the club is now being run within its means fer once, which a club like ours needs to be no doubt at all, I just think its a damn shame other things certainly are not.
