If that,s true we must have been very keen to keep him, as for any more who knows, a Goalkeeper is a must wether that,s 1,2 or 3year deal.

he was out of contract but had been offered new terms. As he is under 24 we will be due a fee under the Bosman do-dah. The fee is determined by suchlike as how much we have developed him, his importance to the team and what his earnings were or offered.

Because we only pay crap wages, and can only offer crap wages we get stiffed every time on the Bosman fees. If there was much credence in the transfer bid from Bury (£100k wasn't it?) then that might help to prop up the figure

Good luck to the lad, I know he was a bit like Marmite but am sorry to see him go - apparently he's got himself a 3 year deal so fair play to him - flippin long trip home from there though

My big fear too is Piero hope he stay,s at least for 1 more season good luck to Kal if he plays well Portsmouth have got themselves a good player but too much of a luxary for me often drifted out of games, being Stanley we can,t afford players who play when they feel like it.

Kal definitely gone to Portsmouth fee undisclosed. The Bury bid was no where near £100k or he may well have gone. good luck to him, He was used to playing ata higher level and it showed. Can we hang on to pierro is a big worry. We need to be competing for a top place this season. I will be interested in who actually signs for us, That will decide if we are serious about competing at the top end. The board have to speculate to accumulate like Bury have. pay peanuts get monkeys.

Maybe if we'd had someone who could have plowed a fortune in like Bury have been lucky enough to have our board would be able to throw money about in the same way - until then we can only spend what we can afford
