Football foundation didn't allow our grant, we started without permission. Wouldn't have completed it otherwise

I knew the rules, they knew we had to start or we would be without proper toilets and have no football all winter. Rules is rules I suppose.

They were the tweets with he photo of the Clayton End.

:) Your right Dave hes done wonders so far :) Still think a full length version of the clayton end running the full length of the whinney all seated would look far better than whats on offer at the mo.

Re: Clayton End development?

I'm all for improvements, but why would you live stream the game that the fans have come to watch live out side in the stands! Half time show the highlights and at the end of the game. Having said that the sports bar looks 100% better :)

Re: Clayton End development?

Maybe the live streaming is for the prawn butty brigade who wouldn't want to go outside to watch the game? Bit strange if you ask me but each to their own :)

Tarmac job started this morning on the Clayton End Car Park...Hopefully no more puddles to dodge to get to the turnstiles from now on!

Keep yer wellies on mate!
Spoke to one of the workmen preparing new kerbs at the bottom of the Crown car park steps, who told me they were laying in stages, starting from behind Clayton End up to the Sports Bar.
The main access lane from Livingstone Rd will be the last to be surfaced.
