Got to admit I was skeptical about this ... but it really was a nice little luxury to have in the game.

Great work by all involved.

If I could offer some constructive feedback:

* The 50/50 number and attendance were scrolling across really quickly making it hard to read - I don't think there is any need for it to scroll at all.

* The clock stopped at 90:00 - it'd have been nice to know how far into added time we were into.

I think (& I may be wrong) but at other grounds where they already have the big screen experience they do seem to stop at 90 minutes - don't think it's just ours

I don't think it's allowed to go beyond 90 mins. I've never seen it do that anywhere else. We were probably not meant to do it in the first half either

Good to see that once actually viewed the various rumblings about the giant telly have stopped. Chalk that up as a success then.

Yes, I believe there is a rule about not showing the time after 90 mins (must have been in place for decades if memory serves) and you can understand why. It would be another stick with which to beat the poor ref as angry fans and players moan about the whistle being blown too soon or too late (in their opinion).

Ps, The clock yesterday wasn't started dead on the kick off (it was started maybe 10 secs after the start). They can't be relied upon to be the arbiter of truth.

no one is criticising the idea of having an electric board, what is up for criticism is the price and the size.

please get behind the club.

Have you had any quotes for screens with all the installation costs or are you just guessing?

why is an accyweb administrator attacking me for having an honest opinion?

i'm pleased to say I have been encouraged by the messages of support from 'real' fans.

the club and OSC need to maximise the potential of every last penny.

Not really a troll, in fact quite well-mannered, but clearly delusional.

Now this is just a theory but, maybe, it has something to do with the fact that every time someone dares to challenge your 'honest opinion' you make snidely references to them not being a "real" fan, or not "getting behind the club". It's so common in your posts that it's beyond parody, and very, very boring. Just a theory, though. Peace and love.

Exile on Spencer St,
there is a portion of the fan base who are clued up.
There is a much smaller portion much likes those moaners who sit behind Coleman that he sometimes mentions in post match interviews, that are not clued up.

Football is a game of opinions, but there are a few of us who also like facts.

How can asking a question be attacking?
You've made a statement about the screen being too expensive and I was interested to know at what cost you could have done it.

If someone had told me that's all you can get for £40k I would have spent the money elsewhere .

We run a tight financial ship at Accrington and every penny counts.

That's the royal 'we', I presume, as in other people doing the actual work?

A tight ship eh? Maybe rip out all the seats and flog em in a car boot sale? Sell off the roof for scrap?

Get behind the screen!
