Will it not obscure the view to the away fans from the control box?

Looks like it's positions further back than the police box

I'd like to say I'm excited about it but . . . . . . . . I'd be telling fibs

I'm excited by it. Providing there's some imagination in how it's used.
If it's just going to show sh@te adverts for Cafe Brilliante and a big clock then my opinion will soon change.

Re: multi-media digital display

If Cafe Brilliante and others are willing to pay x amount a season to pay for "sh@te adverts" then why not?

Either way it's an extra money maker for the club!

Actually Baldy, you are right and my comment was too harsh. I should have said that I hope it is used for a mix of things. Generating revenue as well is a good thing.

Re: multi-media digital display

Didn't they say it was going to be used for Line ups, adverts, club announcements and goals?

A screen wouldn't have been top of my agenda but if it means more money for the club to pay for things like stadium improvements then surely a good thing...?

Well looking at it, cow shed won't be able to see it and by size I hope it's gonna be bright it it'll only be half the main stand and away stand that can see it

How about showing highlights from classic old games? or titbits of info during the match ... "did you know, that was McConville's 26th goal of the season"..... or just quirky stuff like the videos that some away fans make of their trip to the Wham and then upload to YouTube?
