More like inebriation.

With regard to a knee jerk reaction by some its seems to have taken some time for the knee to jerk. Our home league record this season reads W3 L3 D2. Since Jan last season W5 L1 D6. We are more likely not to win at home than to win at home. This pattern cost us promotion last season.

I can't see anyone calling for the management's heads, just an acknowledgement that this record and the underlying tactical set up is not working.

i think that everyone who posts on here are behind the club otherwise they would not spent time and money going to games. can see no rebellion on here either, just fans who have a different points of view and are looking for an improvement on the pitch at the wham. there,s no stupid posts e.g. sack the manager, board etc.. if people are not happy with what,s posted on here try the poolie bunker and other club websites where real rebellion and bile are spouted on regular occasions. we all have different views but the end is the same the improvement of accrington stanley f.c. and long may it continue.

We were the first team in the history of the 4th division not to be promoted on 85 points last season so to criticise last season is ridiculous but thats gone now.
Also ChrisR quite clearly stated that this management team have taken the club as far as they can which translates to wanting them sacked to me.
As for the club wanting 'better days' as someone put it. Was West Ham away not a better day for this club? Was the Burnley game not a better day for this club? Both of which took place THIS season. League form hasn't been great but theres no need for the over reaction Saturday got. If we were bottom and winless in 12 then maybe but we're 9th and a couple of points outside play off positions. No doubt I'll be shot down for this like everyone on here who disagree with the select few but this is my opinion and I'm sure that which is matched by many other supporters.

To be clear I am not criticising last year. Taken as a whole it was a miracle. However it was not perfect and we did not end up with what we deserved.

In order to make sure we do get what we deserve ( I think we're good enough to make the playoffs this year) we should reflect on what has gone before, see what we can learn and apply it in the future. If we don't we will continue to underperform.

I am certainly not calling for Coley's head. The guys a legend.

Accystan1962, If you read My post's I have ASKED if the management have taken the club as far as they can, This was an opener to a debate. Last season we had a completely different team/Squad. Yes we did well and did not get our just rewards we all know that. We didn't have a proper preseason against good opposition, We all knew the pitch works had to be done and we are benefitting from it already. This season has been a total disappointment so far. I have stated my opinions and some people have agreed or disagreed and taken part in a healthy debate. We are behind the club as has been pointed out. If you think I am an anti Coleman/Bell you could not be further from the truth. As a fan I can't ignore the results, I can not ignore the poor and obvious tactics we employ. The Newport team exploited us so easily it was embarrassing. They are not the only ones. we don't change tactics, formation until it is too late. our substitutions are ill timed and usually too late. Saturday was a surprise when changes were made earlier and it did change the game. It is frustrating for fans who can see the same mistakes every week and nothing is being changed. Just watch, we will play Bradford and have a good game like West Ham etc. but our league performance is not up to scratch. Everybody in the ground can see it. A good friend and supporter is someone who tells you how it is even if it is painful. If you and DAV can't understand that then there is no use commenting on other peoples views.

I think there's a certain weariness that can creep in from too much criticism. (That applies to Coleman criticising the fans too, of course.)

It would no doubt be helpful for Mr Holt and Mr Coleman to feel love and praise for their efforts and not discover (from outside observers) instead that fans are grumbling. Positivity often breeds positivity I find.

Without advocating this place being an echo chamber, maybe Judicious biting of the tongue, rather than always speaking one's mind might help on occasion?

But each to their own philosophy I suppose.
