Like Tesco helps out smaller convenience shops?

Alot of the revenue comes from abroad watching Premier League etc.
Can't see Asia for example paying money to watch Accrington vs Oxford for example
iFollow hasn't been a huge success financially for us....

Tesco run their business for profit not to pay their employees wages beyond their means, TV money should be shared out more fairly not so some so over rated players can earn obscene amounts of money and not give a toss about the rest.

Players are paid obscene amounts because that is the money they are generating.
When Juventus spent £80 million on Ronaldo - they made that money back in shirt sales in less than a month.

What would you suggest as a solution??

None at all.
However you need to get away from Fantasy Island if you think the Premiership is coming to anyone's rescue.

Without a product you don't earn the capital.
Without stars players clubs wont get paid.
Why does it worry you what a player is paid ?
If the wage bill is 90% of turnover why is that a problem ?

I'm sure the TV Companies will be clamouring to show Accy v Oxford on a Tuesday night and pay a fortune to do so.

Unfortunately, the fact that it doesn't help anybody outside the elite doesn't mean anything's going to change any time soon. The deal is between the PL and the TV companies, neither of whom give a hoot.

Doesn't worry me one bit never watch the premiership Accy don't overpay I,m happy with that , seem to remember a few last season moaning we weren't ambitious enough, rather they kept all the TV money for themselves then we would be self reliant.

EFL clubs to run within their means and stop moaning when they hit trouble.

Colchester part company with John Mcgreal saying they need a new direction amongst unprecedented challenges and unprecedented opportunity,s as in financial challengeing times they are going to use more academy players, could be a model for plenty of clubs at our level and I,m for one hopefully going to see lots of youngsters given opportunity,s.

and losing millions of pounds a year trying to keep up with those at the top or actually just avoiding relegation every season. even when they fail these clubs then get the payment for failure.

Well said Sanchez at United springs to mind £500,000 a week for doing sod all plus what is agent milked of the gravy train, now City with their well paid lawyers winning the case against UEFA the Shieks and other foreign billionaires can go ahead and spend what they want securing streaming rights and other revenues and caring nothing about fans that watch live, they obviously don't need them.

Easy to say 'use academy' players - what happens to the whole heap of players out of contract?
Supply and demand etc...
