Meeting apparently a week Friday Mr. T., could maybe confirm, about start date and a vote on it general consensus September 12th with 25 to 50% crowds no away fans this year at least.

Re: Next season??

New 5 substitute ruling to be extended for next season initially so 9 subs on the bench brought in for players welfare due to compressing more games into a shortened season, will probably be of benefit to clubs with bigger squads, not totally sure on ruling but bench and use of subs as to include so many from academy,s. Also talk of keeping the new water break time out,s.

Would a no crowds start go down ok with the powers that be at Stanley Mr.T. or would limited be obviously a preferred option.

When Juventus spent £80 million on Ronaldo - they made that money back in shirt sales in less than a month.

What would you suggest as a solution??

Ronaldo is a bit of a one off for every Ronaldo there will be loads not generating any money back or very little take Sanchez at United among many others I could mention.

With teams apparently getting ready to train for a season to start possibility in September with the prospect of no or little crowds to start no away fans and with the current list especially in the north west of spikes and possible local lockdowns please what has changed that made the majority of league 1 and 2 chairman voting against playing with little or no income less than 4 months ago. Is there a possibility of a streaming or TV deal being discussed to show every game in the country live at 3.00 pm or evening kick off,s, with a guaranteed income for the home clubs just a thought.

think clubs and fans could live with that if it was say for the first two home and first two away games of the season. as for the need of extra subs due to fixture congestion moving the end of the season back 4 weeks could help this.

England to play Wales in friendly at Wembley on the 8th., October interestingly behind closed doors not very encouraging for the return of any significant crowds returning for start of season.

Was the longest serving League Two manager, and got them into the playoffs before his layoff. Strange reward

they want the club to be run in a different way and maybe john mcgreal is not seen by them as the man to do this. could be a manager who likes experiance and not youth in his side.

Re: Next season??

I believe a number of league 1 clubs aren't happy about a potential 12th September start due to the expensive charge of the Covid testing upto £145 a person at present, they are hoping the guidelines might ease before then or the cost because without crowds for the majority nothing has changed.
