It announced on the fishy site he was released, but it is actually a loan, made complicated by Ash's short term contract. He's still training with the squad, and would have played for the reserves...

It's effectively a loan, but because he's on a six month deal, it has to be done as a release & re-sign, apparently. He'll still be training at Stanley.
