Following the Whatever Happened to...

Ashley Foyle is now playing for ex-Chesterfield manager Nicky Law at Buxton. They're currently 8 points clear at the top of Unibond League one, which as you...

Re: rikki bains

Congratulations to Rikki on his debut - seen him a few times for the reserves alongside Ash & he looked good. Nothing beats seeing your son's first taste of League football.

Lookling for a right...

Re: Some good news today..

And some more good news....

Ashley Foyle scored at Chorley to earn Belper a point.

The match practice there is doing him the world of good. He's still on your books, and looked good...

Re: Julian N'Da

It announced on the fishy site he was released, but it is actually a loan, made complicated by Ash's short term contract. He's still training with the squad, and would have played for the reserves...

Re: Ashley Foyle

Thanks - I have to say that Rikki looked really good at the Man City match, & one of the reasons Ash wants to stay on top of his game is he knows Rikki is a strong challenger for a place.

Yes,...

Re: Ashley Foyle

Thanks Kiwi John. His broither is supposed to be sorting out sponsorship with the firm he works for, but nothing's happened yet, so as far as I know it's still up for grabs.

I will not be...

Re: Ashley Foyle

Don't panic - he'll be back.

It's effectively a loan, but because he's on a six month deal, it has to be done as a release & re-sign, apparently. He'll still be training at Stanley.

It was...

Re: Mangan to start?

Called in for his tea the other day.

He's doing OK - played in all the reserve games, & settling in at the club. Just waiting for his chance.

Re: Bye bye coppice terrace

Joking apart, I think it's very positive all the news about new sponsors in recent weeks. It shows that people at the club are obviously working very hard to attract businesses into what is happening...

Re: Bye bye coppice terrace

I think we should get a partnership arrangement with Scarborough - they're sponsored by McCain's Oven Chips

Re: Reason for poor gates?

These roadworks don't affect the traffic on the motorways at all, only the slip road.

I've made the M62/M66 journey several times over the last few weeks (including yesterday) without any...

Re: 3 points

As a Sheffield United follower I would like to give credit Paul Warhurst's assist for the first goal, flicking it on for Bocco, and doing his best to set him up for a third. These ex Sheffield...

[quote=shakermaker]Calm down calm down!

Now the big 'occasions' are over, maybe we can start playing our best football.
We were all over Darlington - the favourites to win the league - until we...

[quote=Doug]There were a few gaps around the mid terrace tonight, I also felt that the turnout was little disappointing for whatever reason I had expected more. Maybe when the lads settle down a...

[quote=Mancot Blue]The club only produce 1,200 copies of the programme, which is a load of pap full of spelling, grammatical and general errors anyway, and obviously there were 2,500 MORE supporters...

Re: N'da

Agree totally - I wasn't saying he's worth a first team place now, just that when a vacancy arises, there's other cover as well as N'da.

Going back to the orginal question, all the squad...

Re: N'da

I would like to see N'Da should start though; with Rocky seeing a holding role in midfield as he does like to get forward (what he perhaps lacks in centre-half robustness, he makes up for in...

Only one defender on the bench - Edwards. My lad was hoping he might be named, but no. Going for experience I presume. The whole squad went down though, which was good, so everyone shared in the...

Re: That Foyle lad at the back

We're certainly hoping so after this time - Ash lives with his girlfriend, so four weeks of him not earning when you've bills to pay is a bit of a strain.

The good thing is that the youth team...

Re: That Foyle lad at the back

Seems like three years!!

He's actually been there four weeks now, & given the number of people that have come & gone in that time, pleased to still be there.
He's really enjoying it,...
