Well, our Museum is looking good these days! Hope you find the time to call in and see us. Opening Easter Sat and most probably Easter Monday.

You need to change some of the meta tags on your webpage, at the moment they are

Quote:

<title>hyndburn heritage museum homr</title>
<meta property="og:title" content="hyndburn heritage museum homr"/>
<meta property="og:site_name" content="hyndburn heritage museum homr"/>
Which is why the link in your post looks the way it does

You may also wish to change this one

Quote:

<meta property="og:image" content="http://static.wixstatic.com/media/a58f73_29138fbbd6384a26b51468b089b68314.jpg"/>
To show the main picture on your website home page. At the moment it is a picture of the railway arches so if you post a link to your site on facebook the picture you will see witll be the arches and not the museum.

Thank you Neil for your kind comments, but, .... haven't a CLUE what you are talking about :-)
When I click on the link, it takes me directly to our Museum website, so, I am confused.com??????

Re: Accrington should have a museum

In your post above where you posted the link, the words of the link are "hyndburn heritage museum homr" which looks naff with no capitals and home spelt homr. So I looked at the metadata on your webpage and made the suggestions in my post. Just mention it to whoever created your webpage.

:o Ooops, that was my fault Neil. I created the site. Initially I didn't have a museum photo - hence the temporary viaduct which I altered but being a forgetful sort of a person I had completely forgotten the hasty title and typo which were crying out to be corrected.

Any other anomalies you spot please feel free to point them out. I more than welcome constructive criticism. It's very much a work in progress.

Hyndburn Heritage Museum

I am usually rushing doing such things and am also pleased when someone points out something I have missed.
