Know what you mean Cashy - but to be honest for me it's a bit of fun. I don't have much chance of ever winning as I'm to slow at reading the questions because of my poor eyesight...

It's just another nice meeting place and something to converse over with a few friends...

In the end if you cheat -the ony person you really harm is yourself.

This quiz is timed Cashy.

Thankfully there's no way to cheat.

There was at first, when some people joined with two user names, played once slowly, getting all the answers, then played again, whizzing through in record time.

That's why it was changed, and we now all play the same subject, but have different sets of questions.

Hopefully that'll change soon, now your name there has to be recognisable as your AW name.

Points-wise is it better to be fast and make stupid mistakes -like i've just done -or go slower and get more right?

I think it's better, points wise, to go a bit slower, in order to get as many right as possible.

I was going really well today, but then had to read a daft question three times, which thankfully I got right.

Have been wondering the same thing. Think it's probably better to go a bit slower but I can't seem to do that. And some of the questions do take a bit of reading!

Two questions on modern movies today, not my strong point. But G your time and score were both excellent.
