I've played nearly everyday for three years, and it's been fun, but I've stopped to keep hold of what little sanity I have left, because it can drive you to distraction.:D

Besides, my speciality subjects, art and literature, never came up.

I would encourage other members to play, who aren't already. It is fun, and so is the banter.

We normally have a go just before the ten o'clock news but my computer went off for a new hard drive last week and I can't find the link.

It's taken me two days to find my stuff and this is the only one left so I'd appreciate it if someone could help.

Conducted a little experiment tonight to satisfy my own innate curiosity.
I had already done the quiz, not a bad result for a dinosaur like me, but then I timed myself just reading the questions - no mouse actions except for scrolling down, just reading the questions and I was not slow - in my opinion, yet it took me 39 seconds to just read the questions, no thought about the answers or mouse movements to the correct position.
Perhaps this is one area where my age is slowing me down?

Only just started playing, after a break of many months.

I stopped because I'd noticed my hand was slowing down, when using the mouse.

Parkinson's first affected my right side. Being right handed, I taught myself to use my left, but now it's affecting that side too. It upset me, noticing a difference in how quickly I could use the mouse.

Happily I can read really fast. My best ever time was 24 seconds, for answering ten questions.

With time you do get used to how the questions are worded. Which can help you skip some of the guff that comes with some questions.

Thanks Garinda, will trawl through the rubbish in the junk room and see if I can find some speed reading exercises from my Cranwell days, got all sorts of stuff in there, so you never know.

Without giving tips away...:p

I started playing the quizes on the host site, and you do get used to how the questions are worded, which means you can read them more quickly.

It is a risk though.

Sometimes you can get one wrong, which you knew, because you didn't take enough time to consider the options.

I love playing the quiz but don't stand a snowballs chance of winning, dyslexia don't have slow you down big time:D
