Peel Holdings strike back after the defeat in the high court. Just been down there picking up a bargin from "comet fire damage sale".......what do you think an unauthorised development at the peel holdings retail park. They have opened up the area in front of the ex "focus" building as a caravan park, even though peel holding have installed a 2.1 metre high barrier across the road to stop high vehicles gaining access and using the area as a driving tuition centre, our friends have managed to get on there. question is will peel holdings approach HBC for support in removing the travellers after they suffered defeat in the high court in their efforts to expand the retail park, could be well worth watching developments in the LET. :D

Yes, think you are right, Park ... report from LCC Highways not good. Can't understand a chain like Dominoes (who you say have commissioned some fancy architects) not addressing this as an initial feature...

We will have to wait and see, may by the planning officers will say no, but who knows what the planning committee will do. It has happened before officers have recommended refusal but the committee have said yes

I want to be alone: the rise and rise of solo living | Life and style | The Guardian
Lonely Britain: A MILLION more people now live on their own than in 1996 | Mail Online
"Almost 2.5m aged 45-64 have no spouse, partner or children living with them

The reasons made me laugh. HBC need to start enforcing some of those parking and road use strategies in other areas. How about the businesses on Harvey Street Ossy blocking the road or the obvious one of Blackburn Road shops with cars parking on the footpath?
