Well it's getting very snowy now!! turning whiter!! and COLDER brrrrrrrr..........my niece has just turned up with her mate and the pair of them are frozen.:eek:

Still trying here in Accy too;just checked that Metcheck link that Accymel posted earlier and it looks very very promising if the temp drops a bit and it starts sticking !

Culpeper County closes down or has a 2 hour delay when we get even a bit of snow. It's mostly cause the buses that has to pick the kids up out in the country, have a hard time on many of the road that can't be plowed or sanded.

Growing up in Rhode Island up north, they would rarely cancel school unless it was an actual blizzard. Just a different mindset and how used to dealing with the snow different areas of this country.

As for the kids getting hurt and sueing: Our church meets in the HighSchool on Sundays. This summer Joshua fell down on the gym bleachers and broke his arm. We would never had considered sueing. Not only because there is no Honor in that kinda thing. Also, the county would use that as an escuse to keep the churches from meeting in the schools.

Made it tough with the insurer cause they wanted to have the school system pay for the medical services. Quite daft eh?

To get back on thread. It's still bloody cold over here. Conmtinues to stay under 25 F getting into the single digits at night. Have gone through ALOT of wood. However, have yet to use the heat pump. Oka, so it's 60 degrees when all wake up in the morning . . . When I was a kid . . . .:p

well I don't give a monkeys if we are 10 foot deep!! I have 11 days off work now....and if I want to stay in and snuggle up in front of the fire I WILL do :D
