A "pound shop"? That must be like our "dollar stores". That means that you guys are the victims of your currency. We buy crap for a dollar and you guys have to pay a pound for it! That doesn't sound like a good deal.:eek:

Awww I dont want it to close, bespite the trouble I have getting round it with my pram I still get quite a bit of stuff there for the boys, toys, the odd bit of clothing etc

Will be sad to see it go, that will only leave argos for toys then :(

Wilkinsons are pretty good for toys now Emzy. As for Woolworths very rare I use it.

I never seem to find what im looking for in wilkinsons, more of the larger branded toys arent in there, and to add its even worse trying to get round wilkinsons than it is woolies lol - plus i cant get through all of the checkouts without knocking something off lol

years ago Ty saw a bee stuck in one of those pick and mix tubs, now he calls them bumble bee sweets and wouldnt eat them if you paid him ....

I venture in now & again but rarely buy 'owt.Always seems to be mobbed at the checkouts when i go in.Although the checkout situation is just as bad i'd sooner mooch round Wilkos.Just for the ambience of the place:rolleyes:

Im with Emzy on this one- i go in n buy toys,clothes,confectionary and household stuff.NOt all the time but for branded things its good.I hope it doesn't go :(

Nope, that was bottom of St James Street. Still a few Redmans around...think there's a stall on Bury market.
