Slightly diverting away from the topic of this thread (as it appears certain others have done, perhaps due to their 'senior member' status' level of concentration). My associate and I have just experienced much entertainment reading the latter pages of this thread and have come to the conclusion that a particular supporter of the Labour party, residing in Clayton le Moors, ought to try their hand at a dating site perhaps and relieve some of that obvious pent up tension as opposed to directing such at an obviously well-meaning citizen!

Is this about bestiality? You Brits are off the wall:mosher: Canadians are so boring, we just shoot animals (or, if they are small and cute, we beat them to death with clubs), we don't screw 'em ... :D

How is 'Caz' even gender specific?

This thread was bang out of order in the first place for singling out a specific member and treating them like they are out of order for doing something they have every right to do.

Tell me Graham, what is the point of having such a system in place if nobody is going to use it?

You are acting like 1. a spoilt child and 2. like you have something to hide. I suggest that if you are 'innocent' then you stop acting like you have been caught doing something naughty. :dummy:

I think we should be ENCOURAGING people to take an interest and using systems of checks and balance, because lets face it, there isn't enough money in this country as it is and we shouldn't be letting politicians squander money on their own privileges, especially when some of those politicians are questionable and half-rate in the first place.

It's about time people took a real interest in every single aspect of politics and criticised every little discrepancy. It does no harm to question and there are enough establishments trying to crush that out of people from the early stages of education right up to the tips of capitalism.

I'm fed up of this nonsense where Labour are secretive and elusive whilst the young Tories like Andrew are using resources and making a mockery out of the party that is meant to be for the people.

This thread has gone on long enough with absolute nonsense and people seem to be missing the basic point, and that is that Andrew and anyone else is well within their right to request information on your damn expenditures and you have no right to dissuade people from doing so.

It doesn't matter if it is a local councillor in Hyndburn or the Prime Minister himself, this is the law as it stands and what on earth makes you feel you have a right to be above it?

I don't get involved with local stuff cos I don't know enough about it... but the name Boris just sent a shiver down my spine..brings to mind an idiot, clown, or maybe a person so clever that they can manipulate a whole city..or indeed a country by prenenting to be a clown.. and then has the last Tory laugh.. my god how low will you people stoop?

Unlike the other bumbling Boris, at least they haven't used a tirade of four letter words.

Thank goodness for small mercies.

I shall look forward to reading more indepth comment on the political life of the borough.
