Don't be such a cynic Katex.:eek:

It's probably just pure coincidence that a couple of weeks after the political party he's a member of made newspaper headlines, by voting to award themselves expense allowances above those recommended by an independent panel, that he decided to request information relating to those councillors in opposition.

Only a fool would think otherwise, or a parent, say.

:rolleyes::D

Hey no problem with that but im sure he would get mine and many many others but only time will tell we all have different views as we are all individuals

I know, would probably have to play simple Jack in the pantomime scenario, but only one 'simple' person on here at the moment.

Time it was locked now ... getting silly ... :D

So did the Lecturer tell him to do it or did he decide of his own volition that it would be a good idea to do?

We've been asked to believe the former. If it's the latter, still stinks unsless we can see the results both Labour and Tory, but doubt that will happen.

All this time spent ferreting around might be better spent studying.

We don't want a repeat of his A-levels, and for him to have to retake a year.

:D

Now we have two members saying the thread should be closed. Personally couldn't give a monkeys one way or the other. But do feel that local politicians might just be able to find a better use for their time other than having an argy bargy on Accyweb.
At the end day Andrew asked for some information about ALL the councillors expenses. Seems to me that paranoia on a local level is taking over. And by the way if you have nothing to hide why start the thread in the first place?:confused:

Don't know if you have noticed Bernadette, but TD is the one that is mainly bumping this thread, would have probably died a death by now otherwise.:)

General Chat is supposed to be a place for 'serious subjects'.

An 'I blindly support my son...whatever & get over it' thread should really be in Anything Goes.

Where are the moderators when you need 'em?

Asking for information under the Freedom of Information Act, I'll be bound.

:rolleyes::D

Seeing as it is free to do a FOI then anyone in this thread that thinks the results should be posted could request the information themselves and post it.
