We are most unfortunate that our's do.

The Observer stories I suggested you read, to aquaint yourself more fully with the local political scene in Hyndburn, have reports stating that neighbouring councils accept the recommended limits set by independent bodies, and have not voted to award themselves vast increases, at a time when those members of the public lucky enough to have a job are settling for increases in line with inflation...if they're lucky.

I know this but i guess they have the power to do it and look at the national level MP ETC SO I GUESS THEIRS NOT MUCH WE CAN DO.

Personally I'd find it difficult to voice an an opinion, and pledge my vote for someone, when I knew so little of the facts.

probably but even if im wrong they are on enough salary anyway and a golden hand shake pension so they dont really require it but they had to get that from somewhere in the first instance.
