I've been racking the old brains for the past few weeks trying to remember where I know the name Gordie from....and now I do remember. Yep, it is about seven years ago that 'Gordie' - not his real name, of course, but a nickname - left the town in somewhat embarassing circumstances - for him, I mean.

It was in the papers at the time.....there had been a spate of thefts of women's underware from washing lines..and as I recall, young Gordie was caught 'red handed' wearing the said stolen apparel and a German helmet while engaging in an unnatural act with a bullock, somewhere up the back of the coppice. There were a few other stories came to light when he was up before the magistrates.....I'll try and remember them as well. It was all in the Observer at the time....anyway, it's definatly him and it looks like he's back. So watch your washing line, girls and everyone else keep your cattle locked away.

Gordie, if you knew anything about aviation, which you don't, then you would Know we try to keep our heads above the clouds as much as possible, don't like turbulence.

That said YOU have not yet answered my question, I have not seen YOU quote one name on here YOURSELF.
Clear now?

I want to finish with this issue but will answer your question.
I provided a small number of full and part time jobs.I have paid tax to the local revenue.I have made numerous donations to local good causes for the benefit of all the local community, including help save Accrington Stanley.

I do believe that people have a right to express themselves but not at the extent of deliberately hurting or abusing others or by inhibiting or constraining their rights.

I believe we need to be understanding and tolerant towards everyone but not at the expense and detriment of where you live, your family or the people around you who cannot defend themselves for waht ever reason.

No matter where I go within England or internationally nothing beats the feeling when you come to the boundaries of Lancashire and see a red rose and getting into Acrington you get that feeling that you are home.

I want to apolagise for any hurt or offence I may have caused.
What started of as a bit of harmless expression turned into offence towards some people.I felt I was being bullied by some on this site because my opinions were different than theirs and responded with exaggerated outragous remarks. My truthfull opinions are much different than those expressed.I also think Mr Khan as done the town proud for all of the community.Hope you and your family have a nice Christmas.

Below is your first post, I for one don't find it harmless, offensive to anyone of any background that still lives in the area, but certainly not harmless.

I would suggest you didn't feel bullied by anyone just disappointed that you hadn't managed to raise any racial hatred in agreement with your diatribe.

If you are now saying that your first post was not your version of of the truth, why did you feel you had to start such an obviously racist rant?
