I do not foster friendship with people who antagonise others - so 'no'
However you are not on my ignore list - only people who antagonise me end up there.
This policy ensures my calm is not disturbed:)

Please, please, if you are going to attempt not to make a spectacle of yourself get the saying right, the phrase is not dark sunglasses, but :-

Rose coloured, or rose tinted glasses/spectacles!

Good grief, can we not get a decent kind of moron anymore?

I don't know where "gordie" originbates from - to be honest I don't care. I was born and raised in Accrington/Church until I was 21 and then joined the R.A.F. Been back for visits over the years, still have family there.
Yes, it has changed, maybe for the better, maybe not, but it is still my hometown, and when people try and take the p*** because of Stanley, I will still defend my home town - even though I do not like Stanley and haven't done since the early 50s, but Accrington is my home town. If yu don't like it gordie, there are many who will be prepared to point you to the exit roads, and will not be sorry to see you depart, going off prvious posts on this thread.

I am sorry Barrie that you appear to be a little upset with my thread.I am sure being a proud Accringtonian like you appear to be, you would defend your home town, but like the old saying goes.Sometimes the truth is hard to swallow.Maybe the bit about the football club is not correct but I am sure you know how this rumour as spread if you are aware of the recent football clubs ownership issue. When did ignoring or denying an issue fix anything.
