It seems the lunacy of the left is irrepressible, the labour run council of Towering Minarhamlets are insisting developers include a "Gay Bar" in their building plans! :eek: Unbelievable, the lefty mentality is truly beyond my grasp or comprehension, we are talking about this Towering Minarhamlets Population, Ethnicity & Religion - Tower Hamlets Youth Sports Foundation & the local council are insisting on the inclusion of a "Gay Bar"! So are those who consider themselves to be homosexual not permitted to use any public bar ?
What kind of outcry would there be if some bars decided that they should only serve women...or black men...or heaven forbid heterosexuals.

I do not care what anyone's sexual preference is, but this constantly pandering to what is a minority is frankly tedious.

These people want to be seen as 'normal'(by their actions and those of the ultra PC brigade, they make themselves different)....but constantly play the 'homosexual' angle to get preference...it's a bit like racism isn't it...or am I not allowed to say that for fear of offending these delicate flowers?
Don't these people want to be in an integrated society where they ar accepted for what they are....human beings.

Could you imagine the wailing and wringing of hands that would occur if 'normal' people put a sign up in the heterosexual part of the bar saying no queers, erm I mean gays (I hate that word having been hijacked by the puffs, it used to mean far more for all of us than what they use it for) in this section of the pub?

Just another thought, the snug used to be a room in pubs for ladies only, the games room used to be a place for men only, this is no longer allowed we must mix and allow equality or are some more equal than others?

Less, like you I hate the fact that the word 'gay' (which in my book means happy, jolly, and pleasing) has been hijacked by those who are insame sex relationships.
I don't like that they put themselves forward for special consideration because of their sexuality...as if this in some way overrides every other aspect of their being.

I am not homophobic, I just don't wish to have someone's sexuality pushed down my throat.
It is not important to me to know of anyone's preferences.

Yes, it does appear that some are more equal than others. If you have very tanned skin....or have the rainbow tattooed on your butt (or any other part of you anatomy) your rights come ahead of the rest of us.
The worst thing is we swallow it thinking that it is the right on thing to do...or perhaps the thought police have got into our heads.
