Me too, IMHO she is the only one who can truly continue the legacy of Tony and Gordon and also introduce a new dimension.:D:D:D

Tell you what, you can say what you like about Diane, she's certainly got the other four numpties weighed up perfectly:

"You wouldn't believe to hear them that they were at the heart of the New Labour project for at least a decade. Whether or not they were MPs or not, they were at the heart, they were working for one or the other of the two key people. They were members of cabinet for five years. And yet, at hustings after hustings, they tell you they disagreed with this, they disagreed with that, they don't know why we did this, they don't know why we did that ... All this handwringing and pretending they weren't there, that they weren't at the heart of the project, is slightly amazing."

Banged to rights, lads! :D

Listened to lady Diane on 5 live tonight...unbelievable

Did not answer one single question, said absolutely nothing, had no policy or idea on any questions raised other than ' leaving the ideals that tony blair had behind' and 'labour wont win an election under either milliband'

Good luck Graham..you're gonna need it with dipsticks like her in spokesman positions

One thing is certain .. Diane Abbot cannot win the Labour Leadership, let alone a General Election.
Have to agree with what some have said on here.. none of the candidates inspire much confidence. :(

Something strange going on here - I voted for Diane Abbott as well and I was about 5th or 6th to vote?
Wanted to maintain the trend for the Labour Party.

Solicialism is not yet dead.. some say a week is a long time in politics.. and five years is even longer.. but comon sense will always be about.
No real socialist can win any General Election ... the Tories and their press machine have put paid to any illusion of that ..the media claim to be neutral.. same as some bods on here... but they spend all thier time defending a slash burn Government who are hell bent on the destruction of everything this country has built up over the last 50yrs.. they are a disgrace!

True & vintage Mancie :) can't quite fit in exactly to 50 years but if we start at say 1964 (as I was born in 1965) through all my lifetime the country has been governed as follows :-

1964 - 1970 Labour
1970 - 1974 Conservative
1974 - 1979 Labour
1979 - 1997 Conservative
1997 - 2010 Labour
2010 - ???? Coalition (Lib Dem & Con)

So by your reckoning the governments of their day are responsible for the state of the Country today ? That being the case then Labour should shoulder more responsibility for the current problems simply by dint of time in power ! Totaled up Labour have had 24 years at it while the Conservatives have had only 22 years, your own accusations bring forth the grim reality of UK's political degradation ! Nice one Mancie, your own argument is defeating your champions ! :o

Built, built, Labour have been the most destructive force in Britain in recent times is just that people like you are blind, the only thing you get when your up to you neck in doubt, is hardship, that applies just a much to Government a it does to the ordinary man in the street, the only difference being the government are throwing our money down the drain, debt doesn't go away and today's problems are totally at the feet of the 13 years of Labour Government, end of:(

As I've said before Heating allowances should be means tested, or do you agree with the likes of Margaret Thatcher getting £250 every year, I certainly don't
