I see our honourable member has been typing in haste and amending at leisure yet again. Not quick enough on the edit button for Jaysay though.:D

I think he was talking about Graham's edit button. You 'quoted' him before the final edited version of his post appeared.

I thought that myself, I would think we all, (including yerself), edit after posting, sometimes you just don't notice that glaring mistake or can see a way of emphasising a point more clearly and usually it's just after pressing the submit reply button.
:)

Like John I also follow Graham's work in Parliament on theyworkforyou.

This is a link to Graham's written question in Parliament, regarding communications from Hyndburn Borough council about reductions in levels of public expenditure in -

http://www.theyworkforyou.com/wrans/...0-09-09b.14022

We now have a dilemma about who to believe - the Leader of Hyndburn Borough Council or the Parliamentary Under Secretary of State, Communities and Local Government. Clearly only one of them can be telling the truth and the Parliamentary Under Secretary's reply has been published in Hansard maybe the Leader of the Council would like to make his 'correspondence' open to public scrutiny.

Oh I totally agree Less, the only problem I have is if I see a mistake on one of my posts the time as usually just run out to alter it, then I have to wait for you to take the proverbially out of me :D

I always advise people to trust their gut instincts and in this case I know which side my hammer will fall. It might bounce off that rather splendid Leader's medal he's had minted for himself at the taxpayer's expense.

Good old Freedom of Information Act, should know anyday now.

Oh dear.

Still, must look on the bright side, they both obviously read this on a regular basis so it's an ideal opportunity for us to put things right across the borough with a thoroughly good Agony Aunt column. I'll go first:

Dear Peter,

I have a stubborn blue stain in my borough. Although the majority of it is now washed out I just can't get any real work done while it is there. What should I do?

Yours sincerely,
