Accrington Liars' Weekly

That's what you are, Accrington Web! And so says all of the Hyndburn Conservatives, so Cllr Britcliffe would have us believe at the Cabinet meeting this morning. The supreme Leader of the Council mentioned Accyweb quite a bit today, as did Cllr Haworth. I think I may have ruffled a few feathers there.

Oh dear.

Still, must look on the bright side, they both obviously read this on a regular basis so it's an ideal opportunity for us to put things right across the borough with a thoroughly good Agony Aunt column. I'll go first:

Dear Peter,

I have a stubborn blue stain in my borough. Although the majority of it is now washed out I just can't get any real work done while it is there. What should I do?

Yours sincerely,

Ken Moss (32)

me thinks someone is scared that his 'blue' Hyndburn will be changing to 'red' very soon, its easy to pass the blame when you can't see fault in yourself isn't it

Ken...some Laundry advice......keep the blue stain submerged under water...when the bubbles stop, I think you will find that it will have disappeared.

So PB and MH think we are all liars on Accyweb.......well, I would suggest that it takes one to know one!
Might their opinion have something to do with the fact that we can see through their obfuscations?

Re: Accrington Liars' Weekly

how dare they call their own constituents (sp?) liars, thats a very very silly thing to do isn't it

Accyweb IS Hyndburn......is this man not a full quid?

Re: Accrington Liars' Weekly

how has he been allowed to run the Borough for so long? has he a lot of relatives in Hyndburn that make up the majority of voters?

and before you say it Less, this is MY opinion on things as an outsider, i've not in any way been wound up and left to spin

'A local source been in touch and mentioned that the ever-vain Cllr Britcliffe Googles his own name on a regular basis. A Tory with such awareness of their online profile would be most interested to peruse this blog’s server logs: the 'Hyndburn meltdown' post was visited over 20 times from CCHQ IP addresses.'

Really we're all just tools.

Facilitating in an act of self-satisfaction.

(I think that's a polite way of describing the habit, without resorting to bad language, and getting banned.)

Oh dear Oh dear, aren't we known for our live and let live attitude here on accyweb? No need to be up in arms against http://www.accringtonweb.com/forum/m...ffice-hbc.html
as a long standing member on here who else is in a better position to say if his fellow members are liars or not?
Another thing we are is inclusive, if he's calling us, he must be calling himself!, it's just a shame that he hasn't the time or is it the inclination? No actually I think the term is Courage to come on and talk face to face with us. Which is a shame, because as everyone on the www. knows accywebbers are the friendliest and most truthful webbers in the world. :)

(It might be worthwhile ignoring the last sentence, I am known never to lie, but, like the leader of HBC I can stretch the truth a little).
;)

You can see that it probably was a wise decision, to bus in Miss Posh Seaside-Totty, in the months before May, of this year.
