Re: KFC - Accrington

For many years the only KFC in the area was the one at Samsbury, apart from that the only place I saw one was in the late 60s early 70s in the smoke or big cities like Bristol and Brum, now they have franchise in every reasonable sized town, its just a pity that the people who take out these contracts don't keep to the standards required

Re: KFC - Accrington

John you would think a big company like KFC would make sure that the standards where there at all times wouldnt you?

Not all the franchises, now there are so many of them, use the original 'seven secret herbs and spices'.

There just isn't enough ashes to go round.

It would appear the Clean Air Act 1956 had some unforseen consequences, fancy getting rid of open fires causing such a shortage.

Still, a quick trip to the backdoor of the Crem' might just resolve the problem.

I have no doubt that when people sign up to a contract or franchise with KFC there are quality stipulations included, but like most things these days very few people follow up and make sure that the rules are being obeyed, which is detrimental to the general public

It would seem that if there is litter from previous customers meals, some people aren't put off, I would walk out of any establishment that can't be bothered to clear tables.
