Thank you, we think so too!

It will mean a phenomenal increase in workload for each of us but it will be completely and utterly worth it, after all that's what we originally signed up for.

Here's hoping enough people in Hyndburn vote to make that happen on Thursday.

Bets within the council are that the tory's will hang on, i so hope it isn't true.

Thankfully, I know that significant internal bets are also running in our favour as well.

One way or another tomorrow night there will be tears before bedtime.

I'm looking forward to continuing my crusade against wasteful spending though.

Your going to be busy then if past administrations under another colour are anything to go by;)

Tomorrow will be mostly cloudy with a few outbreaks of rain now and again, these perhaps more persistent for a time in the afternoon; Turning drier again by evening.

Re: Hyndburn Local Elections - 5th May

The Tories are putting out literature stating that Labour will increase council tax and introduce car parking charges, neither of which are true.

Re: Hyndburn Local Elections - 5th May

As for car parking charges, that was a passing idea 12 years ago and has never been considered since.

Re: Hyndburn Local Elections - 5th May

Raising council tax is not in any borough's best interest as we would lose a large government grant if we did.
