It's open. Something of a triumph of style over content at the moment, but have a look...

Right....I've registered. The thing is a hoot. On registering, you have to give the CITY you live in.....so Church has just been upgraded. The History bit gives Church has being founded by King Oswald; alas for poor Oswaldtwistle, it was possibly founded by a man called Oswald, who may possibly have been King of Northumbria, or who possibly may not.....anyway, lets see what other rubbish I can find.

Get on the site and click on images on the home page. What do we see? The glories of Broadway? The majesty of Milnshaw Park? The 500 holes on Blackburn Road? The Grandeur of the Town & Market Halls?

No....Batman, Robin & Penguin.

Tee-hee, that's Doug and Sandra Hoyle our esteemed Crime Czar's. The penguin has still to be identified.

Indeed, it's only been open a couple of hours and it looks like it's crashed already.

Re: Hyndburn Life ?

Never mind.....we can still be amused by the old HBC site which is still up. After all, if the council wishes to waste council tax payers money on one website, why not on two.......or even three.......
