So I thought ok silly joke over, went to change user settings & guess what? I can change anything I want real name, address, anything except accringtonweb.com for my user name so, it looks like I'm stuck with it.

Ha, you too! I went in with a silly name and then decided to change it :confused: Still, it doesn't seem to matter, I tried making a post and the page reverted to "guest status" so I couldn't get a word in (edgeways,sideways or any other way:rolleyes: )

I'll have another go later but with no smilies and that awful font, I won't be a regular there for sure! but Roy, they HAVE got a spellcheck hint hint:p

I've been back in since & re-registered, same me, same address, different user name I was accepted so I've now got two I can make use of depending on my mood.

I haven't registered yet. I did give then my email address to let me know when it's open but so far they haven't notified me so maybe I'm not even supposed to know it's there yet.

It's going to be fun trying to remember who we all are over there.

:type: Just been across to the new neighbours again, just to see if they need anything. They must have to get up early in the morning there was no reply, so I assume they've gone to bed, Mind you I suppose they could have just nipped down to the local to introduce themselves. Whatever it is the lights were on but nobody seemed to be home.

I just tried to answer a post over there and got the message:
You don't have permission to do the requested action.
You might need to login to the system before you can continue.

But then when I tried to log in it tells me my user name is not valid and then shows me as being logged in!

So I try once again to answer the post and get:
You don't have permission to do the requested action.
You might need to login to the system before you can continue.

It's a heck of a lot easier posting here on AccyWeb.
