I should think not, look at the state of the Country after having Jockeens in charge (okay the present one isn't one but his name is), could you imagine the chaos if they were on the throne too !

We'd be made to wear skirts ! Shocking, unless of course it's of a sensible blue or black. ;) :D

Aren't they descended from James VI of Scotland (James I of England)?

Problem is the monarchy is popular in Saskatchewan, particularly among First Nations ... and there are a lot of Cree First Nations out west, and a few Ojibway. The Sioux are particularly loyal to Her Majesty ... they are descended from Sitting Bull's mob, which came to Canada after giving Custer a hair cut.:D Charlie might get lost tho' ... most of the road signs in Saskatchewan are used for target practice. If you see a road sign with no bullet holes in it, it's probably only been up a couple of minutes.;)

I don't know why Charlie feels an affinity with the people of Burnley. His family stopped marrying their cousins years ago.

A friend of my mums is among the local "VIP's" awaiting the Royal Visit tomorrow at the Town Hall -she has bought a new outfit for the occasion.

That got me wondering what Her Maj will be sporting? I always think she rather suits Primrose Yellow (as worn at the wedding of Wills & Kate).

Perhaps we could set up some stakes and have a bet on her colour-scheme -would need photos on the day as proof, of course.

Any ideas what she'll be wearing?

What's the weather forecast for tomorrow though? That may influence her choice ...:D

Meant to be ok the weather tomorrow, wish I could go and have a peek at her but working so cant.

I think betting on what colour she will wear is a good idea :D

What do we say, who is right will get karma off everyone who enters?!

I am going for a pastel shade of green, dont know why just am!
