With respect to the Oswaldtwistle AMC we picked up some useful tips, so much so that we're wondering if we can fit everything in tomorrow night.

Maybe he is coming to see what he did teach you

When and where is the meeting?

St Charles School at 7.00pm.

Precious few residents were actually aware of them so Cllr Grayson and myself posted an invite through every door in the village. If just 1% turn up then we will consider that a success as Area Councils are notoriously under-attended.

What is your usual attendance?
I have only ever been to the Ossy one and I wont make the next one this time as I am working.

Incredibly, about 30 out of the 7,793 residents we have. I'd quite like to remedy that!

Pity about your working that night but we also have Neighbourhood Management Boards in Hyndburn which is a slightly different setup and I very much want to go to one of their meetings as well (Church, for example).

Cllrs Joan Smith and Susan Haworth speak very highly of their boards which involve much more resident participation.

Why not get Mr Zilli to do a cookery demo? That will get the crowds in, and he and his family will be able to walk to the meeting from the Dunkenhalgh.
